STADTPARK, BAD RADKERSBURG

The city park functions as a connecting element between the thermal spring, the city center and the bypassing river Mur. It is a magnet for both – residents but also spa guests. A great amount of valuable tree stocks are characterizing, which can mostly be preserved during the transformation.
Within the redesigning process, a new path network is laid out across the areal, which structures the park together with bushes and other shrubs. Following, in between these trails, spaces are created, which are emphasized by statures, etc. Wooden benches spread across the park, forming meeting spots and invite to linger.
In the south, the park borders the Mur promenade, serving as an important contact between the old city and the thermal springs.
