GROTTENHOF – NATURAL PARK IN THE SOUTH OF STYRIA, LEIBNITZ

The new park complex stretches from the farm building in the direction of the meadow, creating a link between the former function and the history of the building. Three levels, partially planted with poor grassland and its typical flora and fauna, are created to obtain a retention basin. The lowest area forms a semi-humid surface.
Playful elements for both – children and adults help experience the adventurous side of the park. A ‘Eichkatzerlweg’ through the mixed forest, hop climbing garden and pastures shop can be explored. The general vegetation is upgraded by different fruit trees and rows of poplars. A pond in the middle is embedded in the biodiverse meadows of the nature park.
