OFFICE GARDEN HDI (HOUSE OF ENGINEERS), GRAZ

The inspiration behind the open space concept is the architecture of the HDI complex itself. A generous wooden terrace right off the building in the west, serves as a meeting and communication point among employees. A variety of bushes and patches of grass divide the garden into different common rooms. At the center of the entire areal, a water pond brings in another element.
The rooftop garden adds another 300m2 of outdoor space. It is extensively and intensively landscaped and equipped with a wooden deck and bar tables, serving as a great location for festivities and hang out spots for the everyday workday.
