YOUTH IN THE WOLFSGRABEN, RAABA

The area around the pond and the building of the Eisschützenverein is upgraded for local recreation seekers and young people. The basis for the redesign of the area are the workshop at the youth center and the plans of Monsberger Gartenarchitektur.
Various playing, sporting and lingering around the pond are implemented primarily with native materials and plants. Site-appropriate tree species and snacking shrubs invite harvesting. Young people can borrow utensils for a variety of ball games from a box. A fireplace, climbing and balancing logs, hammocks and wooden deck complete the offer for young and old as well as groups and individuals in a natural idyll around the former brick pond.
