scope Monsberger: garden architecture and landscape design
With a close, sensible look at the existing circumstances the yard was split along the house to create diverse areas and living zones. The upper level contains a water area and adjoining lounge area. Existing trees and bushes were preserved to remember the long history of the garden. On the lowest level, a natural pool and a water lily pond were installed. The transitions and height differences are overcome harmoniously by different seating steps and lowered flowerbeds. Various existing walls were purposely removed to rejoin those newly created levels and enhance visual connection with the surrounding landscape.
