MASTERPLAN TU, GRAZ

The Technical University Graz New Campus is located in the east of Graz between the Old Campus and Campus Inffeldgasse. The areal is characterized by its diverse architectural styles, which resulted in the course of many modifications and additions over the years. Therefore, a share of greenery was given up, leading to a loss of quality at the remaining sites.
The aim of the masterplan assesses these existing open spaces and structures, defines new measurements through an action plan and sets objectives. As a result, vegetation functions as a connecting element in between the heterogeneous buildings. In addition, these greenery structures flow into the primarily vegetation network of the city, allowing an ideal transition.
