CITY CENTER KNITTELFELD

The new image of the city center of Knittelfeld is defined by a wide, generous pedestrian zone. Different seating areas and lounging decks are spread out, serving as stop and meeting point and inviting young and elderly to linger. These spots are accompanied by different greenery and shade trees.
The ‚living room ‘– the new main square for residents and visitors appear calm and well structured. Divided into various sections, diverse areas are created to fulfill all demands and functions, but also to split the entire square into a more human scale.
In the evening, post lamps highlighting the edges of the main square upgrades the entire road space.
