‘Walk the line – connection and distinction’: The aim was to reopen the former border bridge, which now appears like a foreign body between the historic cities Bad Radkersburg and Gornja Radgona and to transform it into an inter-cultural, understanding link with an adventure area, promoting communication. Therefore, motorized traffic is transferred from the former checkpoint to the old railway bridge.
The radius of both cities will be increased to create new, open space for development sites. Concerning Bad Radkersburg, this transformation means a strengthening of the axis city center to the thermal spring. Accent lightning is archived by hidden headlights.
